2026-2027 Payment Policies/Authorization

2026-2027 Registration and Tuition Payment Information: Rhythm Dance Center tuition is based on an entire season of dance. Our season runs from August 17, 2026-May 20, 2027. All dancers are required to pay for the entire season. If you enroll mid-season we will prorate your tuition based on when you begin dancing with us. Tuition is not based on the number of classes in a month or on attendance. There is NO refund for missed classes as we provide a make-up schedule. You may pay the entire season in full or pay it in monthly installments. At the time of registration, an installment equal to one full month will be due. This registration fee and one month installment are non-refundable. The other installments are due the 1st of each month, September 2026 - ½ month installment due May 2027, and will be automatically billed to the card on file on the 1st of each month.

All monthly tuition payments, Year-End Show costume payments, and Year-End Show fees will be auto-drafted to the card on file. You will be emailed a receipt after your tuition is auto-drafted.

TUITION PAYMENT IN FULL: If you opt to pay the entire season in full prior and then withdraw from classes for any reason (loss of interest, school obligations, injury, illness, etc.), a 30% penalty will be applied to your refund for the remainder of the year. We suggest you only pay the year in full if you are 100% confident your dancer will participate fully in the entire season. If for any reason we provide a tuition discount during one or more months of the season, this discount will not apply to prepayments. No further discounts are available.

RECEIPT OF PAYMENT: You will not receive a billing statement or invoice prior to any charges, however, you will receive a receipt of payment each month after the auto-draft.

LATE FEE: A $25 Late Fee will be automatically charged for any payments not made in full by the 5th of the month.

RETURNED ITEM FEE: $40 for any returned check or declined payment of any form.

RETURNED CHECK FEE: $40

PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION: I hereby authorize Rhythm Dance Center, Inc. to charge my credit or debit card for all services and products related to my family's enrollment in classes and activities at Rhythm Dance Center including but not limited to tuition, registration fees, costumes, supplemental materials, special events, concert or Year-End show fees, accessories, etc. Fees are subject to change. If I elect to pay annual tuition via monthly installments, I understand that my credit or debit card will continue to be charged on the monthly, session or periodic basis unless I notify the studio in writing 30 days before intent to discontinue via email to info@rhythmdancecenter.com and receive an acknowledged returned response from Rhythm Dance Center staff. I understand that it will not be sufficient notice to merely tell an instructor or other employee of your intent to discontinue. I have read this entire agreement and understand that I will be held fully responsible for its terms and conditions of service, including 30-day written notice by email to Rhythm Dance Center of any intent to discontinue. I understand that once the monthly installments for my annual tuition, my Year-End Show fee or my Year-End Show costume fee have occurred there will be no refund given if I decide to discontinue or not participate. I agree to notify Rhythm Dance Center immediately of any change in the status of my charge account including but not limited to card expiration, name change, limitation of use, loss or theft of the card, etc. In the event that the amount charged is refused for whatever reason, I accept responsibility for full payment for the amount charged as well as a Returned Item Fee of $40.00. We accept cash, check, MC, VISA, DISCOVER, and AMEX.

2026-2027 Withdrawal Policy

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: We require a 30-day written notice via email if you need to withdraw from Rhythm Dance Center. Please email info@rhythmdancecenter.com to withdraw from our 2026-2027 season. After the 30-day notice, we will terminate your monthly installment, or, if a full year was paid, we will refund the remaining installments minus 30%. This withdrawal policy remains in effect even if we have a shelter in place mandate from the federal, state or local government. In the event of a shelter in place, classes will convert to virtual classes and instruction will continue. There may be an approximate one-week transition period from the date of the shelter in place order until virtual classes begin in order to allow us to implement our action plan. This brief time period, if needed, will be treated as inclement weather days, meaning your dancer can choose a convenient make-up class from an appropriate class on our schedule. No refunds will be given for this week. Please call or email to sign up for your make-up class. Remember that a 30-day written notice will still be required for withdrawal.

2026-2027 Year-End Show Policies

YEAR-END SHOW: We produce a fabulous production at the end of the year with all Rhythm dancers. Our shows are typically held the week of Memorial Day. We will announce the dates for our 2027 shows as soon as possible. This is an exciting and rewarding part of the season that everyone looks forward to! We encourage all dancers to participate! Stay tuned for 2027 Year-End Show details to be released throughout the year in November and April.

YEAR-END SHOW COSTUMES: Costume costs typically range from approximately $150 to $195 per routine and are non-refundable. Please note, this cost may vary due to factors like unforeseen supplier cost increases and tariffs. You will receive the exact amount in November 2026 and these fees will be auto-drafted on November 9, 2026. After this fee is processed on November 9th, it is not refundable for any reason. Any costume alterations needed will be the responsibility of the parent. If your dancer will not be participating, you are required to notify us by email to info@rhythmdancecenter.com no later than November 1, 2026. Please do not rely on your dancer to inform us that she or he will not be dancing in the Year-End Show!

YEAR-END SHOW FUNDLE FEE:  All dancers performing in the show will be assessed a Year-End Show Production Fee that we refer to as a FUNdle! The FUNdle fee (per dancer) includes the Year-End Show production fee, which helps cover show planning, theater rental, staffing, security, and other production details not covered by ticket sales. This FUN bundle is designed to make your Rhythm Year-End Show experience as MAGICAL as possible!

The FUNdle includes:

  • One digital download of The Greatest Rhythm Show performance of your choice
  • Digital Group Class Photo(s) (one image per dress rehearsal class)
  • Digital Individual Photo (one costume, one pose – (additional individual images will be available for purchase)
  • Custom Show Memorabilia:
    • T-shirt Personalized
    • Bag Tag
    • Lanyard
    • Goodie Bag of Fun!

We will determine and announce all fees associated with the show in late Fall and accounts will be charged on February 9, 2027. Last season, the fee was $130 + tax per dancer. Updated pricing for the upcoming season will be announced in the Fall and may differ from last year. IMPORTANT: Show tickets are NOT included in this fee and will be sold separately closer to the Year-End Show dates.

YEAR-END SHOW TICKETS: Tickets to our Year-End Shows must be purchased. Exact prices will be determined and communicated in Spring 2027. Last season, the prices ranged from $41-$45 each plus tax and processing fees. Updated pricing for the upcoming season will be announced in the Fall and may differ from last year. Dancers performing in the show do not need a ticket. In order to ensure all dancers have the opportunity for their immediate family to watch them dance in the show, we may limit the number of tickets each family may purchase for a designated time period. After the designated time period, if tickets are still available, we may lift the limit and open unlimited ticket sales to everyone.

2026-2027 Release of Liability

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I understand dance can be a strenuous activity and accept responsibility for any injuries my child may incur while participating in any activity at Rhythm Dance Center. Rhythm Dance Center and its employees are not liable for personal injury, or loss of or damage to personal property.

ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY: By signing this agreement, I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, infectious diseases (currently known or unknown), damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)'s attendance at Rhythm Dance Center. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Rhythm Dance Center, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Rhythm Dance Center, its employees, agents, and representatives, before, during, or after participation in any Rhythm Dance Center program or class.

STUDIO GUIDELINES

Lobby & Waiting Areas: Children must be supervised at all times while in the lobby or waiting areas unless they are actively participating in a scheduled class. Rhythm Dance Center is not responsible for the supervision of children outside of the classroom. To ensure a safe and positive environment for all, families who are unable to follow these guidelines may be asked not to use the space.

Stairway Usage & Safety: The studio facility includes stairways that may be used to access upper level studio space, common areas, or bathrooms. Use of the stairway involves inherent risks so we ask that all visitors to the studio adhere to the following:

  • No running or horseplay on the stairs at any time
  • Hold on to the handrails at all times
  • All children should be supervised at all times

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or disciplinary action. All liability will be assumed by the individual and not the responsibility of the studio, its owners, or staff.

Upstairs Studio Use: Access to upstairs studio spaces is limited to designated classes and programs. Only approved performing company groups may store personal belongings upstairs. All other dancers should bring their items with them and return to the main level immediately following class.

Public Environment Acknowledgement: I understand that Rhythm Dance Center operates within a public shopping center and that individuals not affiliated with the studio may be present in surrounding areas. While Rhythm Dance Center has staff members, including class hosts, who help monitor common areas, these spaces are large, and continuous supervision of all children cannot be guaranteed. For the safety of all dancers, parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising their children when they are not actively in class.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up: I understand that Rhythm Dance Center is not responsible for children before they enter the studio for their scheduled class or after they are dismissed. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring safe drop-off and prompt pick-up. Due to fire code and safety regulations, curbside drop-off or pick-up in front of the building is not permitted. All families must park in a designated parking space and walk dancers into and out of the facility. The shopping center does not permit us to offer a carpool line.

Parking lot use & liability: The parking lot is publicly accessible and provided for the convenience of our customers and visitors to Rhythm Dance Center. Use of the parking area is at your own risk, and Rhythm Dance Center assumes no responsibility or liability for:

Theft or loss of vehicles
Theft, loss, or damage to personal property
Damage to vehicles caused by other vehicles, individuals, weather, or acts of nature
Personal injury occurring in the parking area
Supervision of children in the parking area

Individuals acknowledge and accept these terms when parking in this area. All liability will be assumed by the individual and not the responsibility of the studio, its owners, or staff.

Exiting the building between classes: I understand that if my dancer exits the building unsupervised between classes, the studio, its owners, and staff are no longer responsible for the supervision, safety, or whereabouts of my child until they return for their next scheduled class.

I understand that areas outside of Rhythm Dance Center’s leased space—including but not limited to sidewalks, parking lot, and surrounding businesses—are not controlled or supervised by Rhythm Dance Center. The studio assumes no responsibility or liability for any incidents, injuries, or damages that occur in these areas. Supervision of children in all common areas is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian.

However, you should always use your own judgement when deciding to travel due to weather. We will confirm our closing via email or text when inclement weather affects Rhythm Dance Center. We will also communicate all schedule changes on social media as well! No refunds for inclement weather. All classes missed due to inclement weather can be made up at your convenience using our existing class schedule.
