Adult Classes at Rhythm Dance Center

Adult classes are a BLAST!

ADULT INTERMEDIATE JAZZ  
Mondays 8:30-9:30p.m.  
Jazz hands out! This class runs our entire season and performs in our Year-End Show! Join us for this upbeat, energetic class and you'll be kicking up your heels and grooving to your favorite music!

ADULT CONTEMPORARY
Mondays 7:30-8:15p.m.
This expressive form of dance incorporates a fusion of many dance styles and often tells a story through choreography and dance phrases. Dancers are also encouraged to explore their emotions and movement through improvisation. A strong ballet and jazz foundation enhances the quality of movement.

ADULT HIP HOP
Wednesdays 8:30-9:15p.m.
Join us for this popular, energetic form of dance! This class allows you to perform with freedom of movement. This class is inspired by today's latest music and hippest trends in dance. 


DanceFit
Wednesdays 9:45-10:30a.m.

This fun non-stop cardio Hip Hop based class is sure to have you movin' and groovin'! This class is a session based class and offered in 6 week sessions:

September 6 - October 18 (Closed Fall Break 9/27
October 25 - December 6 (Closed Thanksgiving week 11/22)
January 10 - February 14 
February 21 - March 27

$126 for the Session
$25 Drop-In Rate

What to Wear for Adults

Jazz: Any style/color jazz shoes encouraged, but sneakers or bare feet are fine

Contemporary: Lycra fitted jazz shorts, leotards, leggings and fitted top, tank, or half top. No shoes. Hair pulled back from face and neck.


When sessions are available

DanceFit: Any comfortable attire you can dance in with sneakers

DanceMix: Any comfortable attire you can dance in. This class will be a variety of styles, so for footware, Jazz shoes (barefoot if you do not have any) and sneakers are recommended. Jenelle will let you know one week prior if the class will be a Heels class. For those weeks, please wear any heels you are comfortable dancing in, however we do not recommend stilettos. If you are not comfortable dancing in heels, you can wear sneakers in place of heels!
